Tell me about yourself, is the most common question asked by all interviewer in every interview exam, here we will see how to answer this question effectively.

Tell me about your self, from this question, what interviewer expecting from you?

A. From this question, the interviewer is expecting answers to two question.

1. What is important to you?

2. Are you a good fit for this job?

B. How to answer "Tell me about yourself" effectively?

1. Your first paragraph should be the answer to this question "who are you".

Example (if you are a student and your average SGPA/Percentage is less):

 

Hi, I am Your_Name, I am hard-working engineering graduate specialized in Your_Branch from College_Name.

 

Example (if you are a student and your average SGPA/Percentage is high): 

Hi, I am Your_Name, I am hard-working engineering graduate specialized in Your_branch from College_Name with an aggregate of  Your_SGPA/Percentage.

2. Your Second paragraph should be about your accomplishment with proof.

Example:

Along with my B.E, I have completed various certification and training on technical skills and programming skills like web development, Android development, C++ Programming, Java Programming on Coursera/EDX/Udemy, and all the technologies which I have learnt helped me, in developing various application and projects, because of these projects, I was the winner of mini-project COLLEGE consecutively for three-time, based on this experience, I got an opportunity to serve as CLUB_NAME, where along with my team we had trained more than 1000 students, across YOUR_REGION and for this impact, We were, featured three times in WHERE_YOU_HAD_BEEN_FEATURED.

3. Your third paragraph should be the answer to this question "How you are fit for this job".
